Short lived?

This is great that the textile industry is having a very sunny moment and it will continue for long if China rural health system remains the same, which to say is pretty ancient.

But the companies should also look around once SARS jumps countries to India,Pakistan or Bangladesh the health systems here are as badly funded, lack modern facilities and for crying out loud we are still using reusable needles after all the AIDS cases.

So enjoy the rise ,it is not a blessing just a temporary state of happiness. VERY SHORT LIVED

SARS : A boost...but not for long unless...
by PG on May 23, 2003 06:53 AM

Yes, its true that SARS is helping India and other countries, but how long. Indians should plan out for long term gains. This is the exact time, when we can start reducing cost, and ensure long term business. Even idea of importing material from China and then exporting it is not bad. If we cannot beat them, we have to be traders like Singaporeans.
Think about it.
