Dwindling and cheating has become the prime thing of late and it's no wonder as long as people are there to be lured of quick money some cash on it.

Economic defaulters
by N. Rajagopal on May 11, 2003 12:10 AM

In India there is a good reward and recognition for any crime. Unless, the Govt & the law or the Public
take such offences seriously and pay the chief architects of such companies, in their own currency, such offences will be on the rise.

The only way to stop is ask those Promoters/Directors who start such fly by night fictitious companies, if they intend to pay the dues with interest and confirm how? If they can not pay, the Law/Police/Public/ people cheated by such enterpreneurs, should be permitted to take appropriate action (not necessarily as per legal code) against the promoters/ directors, since the Government neither has the interest nor the capability to take proper action. That is, if they can not pay within reasonable period and show the resources to pay the dues, they should be asked to Clean/Wash the Public toilets, toilets in Govt offices and the banks which they duped, since there is no post of Director vacant available for these defaulters. They should be paid daily wages as payable to such workers and the same adjusted against
towards the outstanding amount. I can challenge that there will be no such defaulters in centuries to come

Don't trust what you see
by Venugopal on May 10, 2003 11:22 PM

This is a classi example of fraud and cheating and this is not the first in the list. People who are desperate for jobs are the ones who get cheated. What I could say is don't trust what you see, use your brains and find out more abt the company before making a decision which may affect your career either mentally or financially.

I am having the last laugh!
by Athradi Suresh HEgde on May 10, 2003 09:22 PM

I am having the last laugh!
I am running an Internet Centre in Bangalore.
The Sutra Solutions people had been telephoning me repeatedly and asking me to take up the franchisee. They wanted me to add five more sytems to the existing five and deposit Rs. 50.000/- as the nonrefundable deposit with them. They were promising to pay me Rs. 4,500/- per PC every month and they would also pay the bill of ISP. Smelling the rat well in advance, I requested for a non-refundable deposit from them instead of I paying them. They told me that I was the first man asking a deposit from them and that it was not possible for them to pay a deposit amount to me. They never called me after that.
But, they have already harmed our business with an offer of Re. 1/- per hour browsing-AS Hegde.
