Of late, many Banks are now not issuing Hard Copy of the Fixed Deposits with them as they are simply informing the details by e mail communication. In some cases this may get lost and the customer is not able to keep track of such F D, In such a situation, the Bank sould send either a Hard Copy of the FD and / or written communication of about such a FD, which remains with the Bank unclaimed so that the customer is able to claim hie / her hard earned money. Also, in respect of all such FDs, which remained unclaimed due to any reason, the Bank should send written communication by post or through courier so as to locate the enuine customer. Further the Bank could also display the list of all such FDs,in its Branch, where the FD was taken.
