This attempt at denying Indians of the credit of inventing delicious dishes which the whole world adore, is very unfortunate. Firstly, Indian spices had always been in demand in Asia and Europe. Indian dishes are highly in demand in developed countries. Indians had always been the best in developing exotic dishes. This article makes some unfounded statements. Yes, Mughals had brought some foods but Indians were rich in food variety before the arrival of invaders. Thousands of years of old culture can not be ignored this way.

very apt...if u enter a filled room you do not sit infront but at the end....the writer has put her thoughts on what is available source of knowledge...The Britishers used to say Tamilnadu is able to feed whole of Indian subcontinent and India is able to feed the whole of world...The writer needs to research more to have a balanced outlook.
I would like to correct your article writer that Samosa do not have central Asian root but it was Originated in India, mentioned as SAMBUSH in Valmiki Ramayana, Sambush were filled with green peas not Potato because potato much later introduce in India.
