Indians heading majority of Global entities and far ahead comparing colleagues from other nations. If Indian education system is poor, how this could happen? Something wrong in the process of arriving at the ranking.

Yes, I agree 100% with Mr. Hariharan, these rankings are biased & with a prejudice regarding the Indian educational system & institutes.
Yes I agree. But how these institutes like IISc, IITs and many others pose as so great !! Many facuty memebrs behave no less than nobel laureats with out a noble prize. Many top scientists are known as distinhushed Scientists/Otstanding scientists and also Head organisistions and labs without having single publication of their own to their credit. How India can top universities in the world.
Why IITs, IISc, and other so called top insitutes did not produce Corona Vaccine ??

Could not agree more. many of them actually publish via their students by just adding their names. Even get grants from Govt to present abroad

Indian education system is not " Practical Based" it's theory based. Lack of " CORE RSEARCH" Most of the PHD holders are doing " COPY & PASTE" Business. Lack of BASIC RESEARCH. Mostly are writing Articles taking txt from western Journals. we have to teach our children " How to think independently" not what to think. we are expecting lots from IIT and IISC. Before there were 4 IIT colleges now every states are having one. Quality of IIT has gone down. our Govt should think seriously.
