Sleep and sleep shortages

What is said above about sleep by the respectable specialist is very fine but in my case what do you expect me to do. I am put up in one part of Bangalore. I am 67 years old and work as an accounts manager in a private company. I go to bed by 10 PM but have to get up at 1.00Am as the cauvery water is supplied to our area during midnight. I have to go down my rented building and open the sump valve. Wait for the sump to get full then pump water to the overhead tank which takes around 24 to 26 minutes to fill. Once the overhead tank is full the sump is again empty. I have to wait awake for nearly an hour or more for the sump to get filled again and then go back to sleep after shutting the cauvery water valve. This is a process of nearly one and half to two hours or even more. After that when I go back to sleep it takes a long time to get into deep sleep. What do you advice in my case.

Sir, either appoint some one or see if you can change the timing to 5/6 AM. Don't compromise on sleep, any disturbance in sleep pattern can have adverse affect on your health.
