Yes, it was my own plan, doctors mentioned just to reduce weight and reach a BMI of 22 to 22.5. It seems for "Indians" BMI above 23 will result in visceral fat getting stored and once we cut down on carbs, the process becomes easier.
Narayanan, what your Dr had told you earlier is usually what is told to each patient who is diagnosed with Fatty Liver but none just cares the way you did. One can have Diabetics just because of fatty liver and even than Dr's just says that it is common for people to have fatty liver. Hats off to your determination and the way you have reversed the condition. I am also suffering from this condition and have also developed diabetic but never thought it can result in liver cancer also. After reading your story I am also going to get tough with myself to get back to a healthy liver. Thanks for your article. I hope it'll also make many more readers of the danger of unhealthy eating.
