You will get good food only in Maharashtra.

Good or bad I cannot say but clean food. Mahashtra overall has good sense of hygiene in and out of the house. Northern sectors are the poorest and south healthy.

Breafast is best of south-Idaly ,vada .
Lunch is best for Punjab/Rajasthan-Tandoori item and dal baati.
Evening snacks are best from Maharashtra/Gujarat- bada pav ,sev pav ,dhokla etc.

Evening dinner is best of Madhaya pradesh-Roti Sabzi ,rice.

I enjoy Kokani veg food..Breakfast Poha, Sanna, Amboli.
Lunch Bhakri any. Rice, Jwar, Bajra. Unpolished or boiled rice curry or Sambaar. Pulse usal, Kadhi either Sol or curd. Pickle, papad. Sweet soji etc.
Evening snacks Onion pakoda, laddus made of rice flour or raagi flour.
Dinner Rice or semi liquid rice (pej) with chutney or veg.
