Dear all, Such a display of righteousness......a few right points from a father for his fellow good parents.. 1. Parents please do not eat ghee or butter in front of your children...I am a doctor and believe me they are as bad as drinking and smoking...and I suspect you parents are aware of it lekin as ghee and makkhan arenot declared morally wrong by parents ka parents....no problem there? Culture mein ghee buura thode hi hai???and more importantly both father and mother can eat ghee..I mean mothers can eat ghee too and absolutely no cultural problems.... 2. The act of jhooth bolna and bitching behind people's backs...I am sure all those who commented so strongly against naari jaat drinking and smoking etc. have sworn to never ever lie or complain against people behind their backs in front of their children???

No not at all. one cannot judge person no the basis of her / his habits which is totally personal. Having said that what is the need to talk about such things in public. Secondly such habits are likely to continue for ever and what is pleasure in the beginning can easily turn into addiction. Lastly what about health hazards related to drinking and smoking which can affect the person and her kid also.
No mam, it does not make you a bad person or bad mum. Be truthful to yourself and don't waste your life, opportunities is enough for being a good person. Drinks and smoke are immaterial things in defining the character of a person.
Yes it does. You are the role model for your children. They will try to emulate you in their lives and naturally feel that smoking and drinking is the in thing to do and will start doing both. Now before you jump the gun and say so what, let me tell you that the million dollar question is when and at what age will they strat doing it?
