One of my employee's daughter has a Thal Major & I know very closely how difficult life is for the child & the parents.
As no known treatment is available, the only option available to curb the spread of this genetic disorder is by spreading awareness & having pre-natal tests.
I sincerely hope & pray that the medical fraternity soon achieves a breakthrough., either in helping make the haemoglobin naturally Or helping in taking out effectively the massive iron overload that comes with every transfusion.
