SKEWED EDUCATION SYSTEM
by syed hussain on May 08, 2018 09:59 PM

India with its teeming millions is in dire need of Doctors. whereas Our Education system is skewed that we are producing thousands of engineers every year (of doubtful capabilities, barring fm a few reputed engg Colleges) and the supply of Doctors is abysmally low ! There is a dire need to correct this anomaly at the earliest. We need to have more Doctors and also increase the Seats for Medical specialists.

Many questions to ask?
by V Nagarajan on May 08, 2018 09:36 AM  | Hide replies

There are many questions to ask about NEET?
1)Since education is in concurrent list ,is it correct for the Center to impose its will on states.
2)Is NEET really needed. How is it relevant.
3)How will it make a student a better doctor.
4)Is it just a method of elimination?
5)The way CBSE has conducted it this year is far from desirable. Allotting TN students centers in Sikkim & Rajasthan is ridiculous. In some centers it was conducted between 1400 hours and 1700 hours instead of 10 AM to 1 PM?
6)Further the cost and the trouble it inflicted on parents is enormous.(Travelling to Sikkim & Rajasthan from TN).How can poor students afford this?
7)The students were in no shape to write the exam?

Success in NEET
by Suram Verma on May 07, 2018 03:40 PM

Every aspirant expect to be successful in NEET to become MBBS or BDS but not possible for all. Total number of students taking the exam is about 7lakhs or so and MBBS seats are about 60000-70000 whereas BDS sheets are plenty in private institutes. Students should not loose hearts and even after unsuccessful in NEET, they can opt for various career options like Higher education (B.Sc., BA), Agriculture, pharmacy, veterinary, fisheries, B.Sc. nursing, medical professional courses like lab technicians, radiologists etc. There is no end in these avenues and every one can have a plateform according to his interest.
