Without knowing ability of human being, criticising is meaning less. She achieved and doing best, serving nation to best of her ability. Instead of seeing positive abilities some people rely on -ve things. Same were observed here. But she is inspiring to working people... that is life. Namma collector- Nanige pride..

She is from the OBC category and got position on Reserved category .... But she is doing good work in Salem.
Forget General category, it is almost next to impossible to get through IAS ...

She maybe doing a good job. But we shd know whether she has availed Reservation or not. This will enlarge her status in our eyes. Those claiming Rvn must write against their names SC/ST/OBC and the Nbr of times her family has availed of Rvn.

Now her child must not be given Rvn privileges for both his parents are collector level.

Indian Civil Services are a legacy of British India , a symbol of slavery. It should be abolished and replaced with a more professional public administration service. Why should a dozen Indians move behind a District Collector like slaves?

My sympathies for her. Ours is a country where males cant tolerate a female occupying a position of authority. We at karnataka are experiencing the same right now. Lady collectors and top officials are transferred just like that. A top lady police officer was shifted for pointing out special treatment meted out to sasikala natarajan in bangalore jail. Foreign countries and developed nations are looking at us with shame that the general gender index is not matching. But we believe in shifting efficient female officers in our country.
