If one can analyse Yoga, it is basically to maintain good health thru breathing & stretching (Asanas) AND most of the Indian dances like Bharata Natyam, cover certain poses. Vijayantimala is maintaining good health at may be 85, by teaching/practicing Bharat Natyam,almost daily. Even Western dance poses do make a person bend, twist, stretch & maintain flexibility of the body. This is good alternative for those who want a change from the monotony.
