Recipe for disaster
by Manian on Aug 02, 2018 07:06 AM

Ms Banjerjee did the same thing when she wanted to get former president Abdul Kalam for presidency again but it flopped. The marriage of convenience will recipe for disaster for the country because every opposition is selfish and with so many parties getting together and regionally garnering more seats and once they come to power with different aspiration you can't expect good governance but 20 pulling in 100 direction. People are not fools to just vote for such coalition.

This is India, lot of manuplations occur during NEET exams,As we know even people can manuplate online exams, i have seen this year in pune during symbosis mba entrance exam ,some students were been helped to get good scores. So my suggestion is first see it exams are conducted in good and fair manner, how many times you take exams it matters nothing.

NEET or not , medicine is going beyond reach of middle class and
by Sreejith R.S. on Aug 01, 2018 06:02 PM

i am a doctor and i can tell you that even by all fair means, MBBS is a costly affair and it takes 13 years or more to see some respectable salary (50,000), UNLESS you have a father who can pay for bypassing the exams. working alongside the paid candidates is a sickening feeling. their utter disregard for studies, their business like approach to patient and utter disregard for poor is a hallmark found across all.
BJP like its NMC BILL, has hidden agendas under the guise of equality. while they appear idealistic when they talk, why do they put up NO UPPER LIMIT for fees in private? Is it not reseving seats for the uber rich? why 50% cut off was converted to PERCENTILE. how do you justify your good intentions. i know you wont ever have answers. THIS NEET IS PRO-RICH.. like the goverment. it doesnt care for the middle class or lower as we have witnessed in several of government initiatives.

Coaching Institutes
by Jayalakshmi Padmanaban on Jul 31, 2018 08:06 PM

The menace of coaching institutes is to be ended. NEET puts the rural students at disadvantageous position. The rich urban NEET qualified students are not going to serve in rural areas which will worsen medical service delivery in the coming years.why the Govt. should subsidise the medical education of a student who pays lakhs for coaching institutes to qualify for NEET?

NEET aggrevates Rural Urban Divide
by Jayalakshmi Padmanaban on Jul 31, 2018 07:59 PM

One should understand the role and money involved in coaching for NEET. Rural students will never be able to compete with urban students. That is the reason why JEE is largely a urvan affair.

We need to totally redo medical education?
by V Nagarajan on Jul 31, 2018 04:22 PM

We need to have a second look at the medical education?
1)MBBS must be segregated into BM & BS.(4 years each)
2)Studying Phy,Che & Biology in 11th, 12 & NEET is a waste. We must have a totally different syllabus for all the medical, dental,Nursing & all the para medical courses numbering 20 or so.It must be medicine oriented subjects.
3)House surgeoncy must be for 2 years in any hospital with a good pay.
4)More technology & predesigned materiel must be used in teaching methods,to reduce the cost of education.

Abolish Pvt medical college
by Ganapathy venkatraman on Jul 31, 2018 11:58 AM

In many states the Doctor Vs patient ratio is less. Medical council should increase the number of seats ( MBBS ) in govt medical college . Also MCC should emphasis & insist the pvt medical college to accommodate the students as per the merit & defined fee structure by govt med.college . other wise the education standard & out come of pvt medical college will be worst . Your comment pls
