No one have snapped a Royal Bengal Tiger at Sundarbans of Bengal.

Yes the sighting is rare. Moreover as communication through water depends upon tides and water level so even if there is a news of sighting by someone still reaching the place within an hour or two is also difficult. Population of tiger is also less and density is low. There are more reasons also so sighting and photos of Sunderban Tiger is rare. One thing is to be kept in mind Sunderban tiger are ferocious too due to harsh environment conditions,bruises from thorny leaves of Hetal tree and difficulties due to mangrove shoots.

Are these tigers not of the same breed as sunderban tigers ? I believe that all tigers found across india are Royal Bengal Tiger breed only. Please correct me if i am wrong.
