Is keeping the city and surroundings a bad idea? People litter the beaches and then complain about untidy surroundings and why the rules are not imposed. When rules are imposed, they complain again? One can still happily drink in the restaurants, shacks, open air beach facing restaurants, many more places. Keep your state clean. We love tourism in Goa and certainly wanna clean place to visit.
Goa is beautiful. Goa was famous for food, hospitality, churches, temples, beaches, nature, lakes, water falls, Goan food, culture etc. Now Goan food is replaced by Chinese, North Indian food and culture. Goan culture is seldom visible now. Even natural Cashew nuts are coated with chocolate flavours. There are no moee ferry boats. Hotel serving authentic Goan foods are rare. We do not hear loving Konkani conversation.

Goa's charm is not restricted to only liquor. There are many other factors and aspects that contribute to the charm of Goa. This ban will help clean up the image of Goa and restore the real image of Goa.
The ban of drinking liqour in the open is a good move.
There are other aspects that also need to be addressed by the Chief Minister Mr. Parrikar based on the promises he has made at every election - to remove the Casino's this is not part of Goan Charm. It is an eyesore when one lands up at the Airport to see the hoardings of Casinos all over the place as though this is Goa. Mr. Parrikar if you are really serious about the identity of Goa then take your commitments seriously.
Mr. Parrikar is also aware of other things that are affecting the charm as he has been the CM of Goa for a long time and he needs to address all these if he is serious about the identity of Goa.
it is bad instead of raising security system ur r just banning, it is better to improve ur security level rather then banning no body shud support this ban

Do you go to Goa only for liquor? Drink it 24 hours in your house. Why you need to Goa for that?
