This is not to undermine the victory of France and I would like to say both the teams were equally good. It should have been anybody's win had the bad luck not fell heavily on Croatia. One self goal followed by a controversial hand ball penality kick. France got two easy goals and Croatia one due to French goal keepers blunder. Reamaining 3 well crafted goals, French side outweighed Croatia by 2 goals to 1. Football is the game of the brave hearts and Croatia cannot blame only their bad luck and they gave up too early after the two setbacks. Let us not forget how Belguim fought back and won against Japan after they were trailing with no goals to two.
