Before going for smart city project our Union Housing & Urban Affair Minister must tone up the municipal corporations of all the cities and towns and develop the basic infrastructures and civic amenities.Before this is put in place dream of smart city cannot be achieved.In my opinion all the municipal corporations and civic bodies must be free from political personnels.Instead of elected persons all the posts must be manned by paid professional with full accountability.This dream can never be accomplished if elected political parties sit over these bodies..Hope the Minister understand and take some initiative in this direction.
