Tailormade Social Engineering Must be Imposed to develop Dalits
by MISSIONARY on Jan 31, 2018 03:14 PM  | Hide replies

Can Dalits be Raised to Standards of UpperCastes in 25 yrs?

Birth-based caste system, according to which people who carry bad Karma accumulated due to sins in their previous Janma are born into lower castes, is fundamental to HHinduism, though some try to deny that.

I agree that HHinduism is more secular than any other religion in the world, but it needs a more methodical attempt to change the 4000-year old birth-based caste system.

First an authoritarian rule should be imposed and then:

1. Impose strict family planning—2-child policy among Dalits.

2. Open English-medium schools in all Dalit colonies. Just to teach English from Class 1 to Class 5 does not cost much or need big infra. This can be easily achieved by reducing the salaries of our useless GovtEmployees by 5% (or just by not revising their salaries for 30 years).
3. Order all Dalit gov employees to take monthly English tests and to score min, failing which they lose increments.
4. Make it mandatory for all Dalits taking min number of English tests and scoring min, before they can use their reservation certificates.
5. Teach mainly English and maths from Class 1 to 5 (teach the same content as a subject in Mother tongue). Teach history, science, etc only after 8th class.
6. Make NCC compulsory (with English commands) and train them well in western manners, parallel with Indian manners (of course keep them away from bad habits of the West).

7. Instill achievement-oriented thinking among Dalits

not by birth but by profession their caste are determined. which hinduism book you read that mention caste system.
First govt should stop all benefits of SC and ST to people who got converted. Many converted people took govt jobs on SC and ST quota and they should be immediately terminated and same jobs and benefits should pass on to real dalits, SC and ST people

Why didn't Gandhi go on fast to stop the partition?
by Bharat Kumar on Jan 31, 2018 12:59 PM  | Hide replies

Gandhi's methods of non-violence to convince an aggressor to stop is one redeeming feature of life. For which Einstein rightly said - generations will scarce believe that such a man walked this earth.

But one never hears anyone ask, why Gandhi never undertook fasting to convince partition was wrong. It is quite likely British would have left the country to individual states like Hyderabad, Mysore, Junagadh, Kashmir, etc. and the rest of India would have plunged into a civil war. But then a token fast would have helped. I never found an answer.

He probably became the father of the nation, but could not be a father to his own children. Instead, he left Harilal to his ways and didn't spend time as a responsible father, nor did he let his wife do the duties of a mother. His experiments of brahmacharya after Kasturba's death, raises many doubts. Molestation is also touching the bare skin of a young child to derive pleasure. One doesn't have to indulge in anything else to call it true molestation!

So many things about the great man wouldn't be answered. Like most humans, it isn't a surprise that he was probably a casteist or racist. But what do we prove by making that point? Become great and get away with anything?

I condemn all attemts to tarnish the Mahatma who was Godly person. The Dalit author Gilda has no stature to critisize the Mahatma

After 70 years of his death it now necessary to evaluate his teachings in today's world. His principles of "AHINSA" was a total washout even during his lifetime. His role in partition of India also needs to be studied.

Seeds of poison....,

The so called literature festivals are done to release books by few individuals who make themselves loud mouth, well ahead of such platforms to gain publicity. Secondly the stage breeds poison in the minds of the public & this is done to attract their presence on the dias. Public must be cautios of such unscrupulous mafia of the society. There are no more literary figures who enrich the thinking minds of the society today.

Yes sir, you are absolutely right. The people who actually enrich our minds are those who stand on public platforms and abuse others, those who occupy high positions in government and actively promote hatred, and even those who go around burning movie posters and threatening actresses. They are the ones who really make sense. These literary fellows, they are full of poison. Very right.
