CA exam body is the only body which is ancient and retrograde thinking. From days -1960's they give 4 to 10% pass. I do not know what pleasure they get in ruining youngsters. The day their signature authority taken away from signing the balance sheets the scene will change. Lot of people have done MBA finance and doing well (including our RBI chiefs)but have no authority. These days nothing is ones fiefdom, with little extra effort students can learn and master things. Why this discrimination? for a nation of 1.25 billion 19000 CAs? nonsense.

I understand the answer sheets are being evaluated by article clerks of CA firms. What can you expect from them. I have seen good students are failing every year and seen some donkeys passing CA. There is no transparency

This institute ICAI has ruined my time and energy and caused me deep mental trauma as well as frustration in my life.As I have pursued other course also apart from CA, that is why today I can lead my life moderately settled. I lost count how many times I have appeared for final but never passed, although in other walks of life I am successful. That course left my life a big void, my long time which I have invested has gone totally waste as well as money.I have also left jobs,dropped interviews just to appear for the exam and see what I got. My career got ruined.It is high time that some regulators or investigators be appointed and pierced the veil what is going on and how they got such courage to ruin the people's life. Govt. should do things immediately. Thanks to rediff, that such news has surfaced otherwise this ICAI may using its clout may hush up the matter under carpet.
It appears that 5000 students have failed because they did not score an aggregate of 200 marks. If 200 marks is required for passing it is inconceivable that students who scored less than 200 can be passed. It is a clerical error which was perhaps avoidable. error can not be the basis of qualification in a professional exam. Students must accept that thier score is less than required and start studying for next exam. Good luck and good wishes to all concerned. CA ulhas keshav limaye

every where corruption earlier open now secret but corruption will never go from india due to this students, middle class people are sufferrer and person like President, VP, Governor are beneficial for hiking their salary. Earlier also Mumbai University made mess of result but no one ask why? because your hands are tightened. you cannot open your mouth. good governance.

As because you have passed don't give big advises. If you would have failed you then only you will be realizing the pain.

Spare the Answer Sheets of respective students & Let them check in the Institute Premises itself under CCTV Surveillance whether they got failed or qualified the exam, the only genuine way left with the Institute Authorities.
