The hype over pad may be cashable for some but real benefit for women can only be meaningful if sanitary pad and contraception option are sent free to every woman's door.
Dear Maya ji, thanks to you and Mangesh Jha from Jharkhand for educating rural women. Hope both of you can join hands for making No tension available to more women all over rural India.
Hats off to you Madam Maya not just for yr involvement in Womens' problems but giving up yr comfort in US for the cause. The main problem in India, is connectivity of Rural people to Urban areas & hence not aware of various womens' issues. But Indian Govt is obsessed with 100 Smart Cities which will create not just 100 but few 1000s Concrete jungles than any Smart City. It is not too late to think of 6 laks (Villages in India) than 100 Smart Cities at a cost of 3 lak crores. The Ministry of Urban Development (MUD) is basically not aware of what will make our Civic amenities better & consequently our lives; mainly that of poor/rural people.
