Kerala floods

The unfortunate thing is after the floods it is back politics and blame game. Keralites are 100% literates unlike other states. But they get carried away without realising facts. It is time party politics are set aside and together they work to wards oneness. The other day Arnab was trolled and that showed thos who openly attcked Arnab did not get their english right. He did not mention Keralites. He mentioned those who spread the news of 700 Cr's from UAE. Those who contribute will not say they did it. The people got the message of Dr E Sreedharan also wrong. It was Kerala pride that was at stake when we ask for funds. We can do it; that was his message. I have no doubt Kerala will get the sufficient flood collections from all who are magnanimous. CM's fund will fill to the brim and may even overflow. Lets hope Kerala will again sprkle on the India map. Social media and news channels are definitely doing much harm to teh minds of the people. Please desist in half news and picking words from here and there.

Unity seen for helping during Kerala floods was unique
by Jayaprakash Balan on Aug 29, 2018 12:48 PM  | Hide replies

The unity and enthusiasm with which each and every Keralite alongwith others all over the globe seen to help people of Kerala during the floods was just unique and never probably seen in the history of India. Generally when any calamities happens its always the poor people who suffer and the well off generally do not come forward in full flow to feel sad or help, escaping just by issuing statements in media. This is the first time that Govt. machinery, channels, glamour world, TV channels and each and everyone from rich to poor actually poured in all way to help the people and ensure all requirement whether in terms of money or food items or clothes. No wonder Kerala is unique and stands no. 1 in all respects especially in social fabric and humanity. Other states have to learn from Kerala how to unitedly come forward immediately to help people in distress. This is real development. In entire country, you will find development happening in pockets only especially in cities and towns, whereas the beauty of Kerala is that development in all forms mainly education and lifestyle is equal everywhere which helps people across to understand and unite.
