There are many ways to have ideal height and weight: -Brisk walk 5 km every day -First meal before 8AM -Last meal before 8PM -Substitute other food items with more salad, sprout, fruits etc
You simply need to understand a basic formula to reduce weight = Your intake food (calories) < Your daily calorie requirement (including workout).
You eat anything and everything in moderation but if it is not healthy you will only reduce weight but not chances of getting "tough diseases" like, kidney stone, breast cancer, thyroid issues.
Yes, a healthy lifestyle means healthy food & healthy routine too
I am a sports enthusiast and work out regularly with weights. I also eat heartily and am a big foodie. I have tried the following drill to my advantage: 1.) Given up on white sugar. Meaning I have green tea, have sweets only during festivals or the rare occasion when i crave for a particularly delicious one. That includes cakes and pastries..again only during festivals or on a flight when a cake is the only available option. 3. I have honey everyday and sometimes gur. 4. I dont have butter at all but ghee occasionally. When a butter - toast is the only option on tour, I ask them to melt the butter to a fluid state. 5. I love walking .. and would rather walk it down to nearby destinations. I love climbing stairs. At airports I avoid the escalators and take the stairs. 6.In the gym I never sit and chat..am always into some activity even if chatting. 7.I avoid a lot of cream with my coffee.Or with anything else for that matter. Avoid the sugar rich icing part of a cake..even though I love it ! 8. I pace around ( at an easy pace for 30 - 40 mins after dinner before sitting down. And a further 30 mins before lying down. 9.I take fish and chicken everyday. Red meat a few times a month. I avoid the fatty portion of red meat.I avoid minced meat (keema)..except on rare occasions. 10. I have rolls (paratha with meat or egg) very sparingly.. maybe once a month on an average, mostly when travelling. I avoid parathas. 11.I check on my body regularly and have learned to love it.
