Indian students go to US for the lucre of dollars and not for better studies.... Indians get carried away by the top universities in US which admits only the best from India... Many other colleges are mediocre teaching skills which Indians can learn in India itself at lowest cost...

True. It is the job market in US which is responsible for students preferring US for higher studies. However, there are other reasons-better labs, more academic freedom, etc in US- these too cannot be ignored
