It is highly appreciable that Miss World Manushi Chillar has spoken about sanitary napkin, a commodity not much spoken about. I am from a rural india (North Eastern States). There is absolutely lack of awareness amongst the villagers. I would like to add that it is not only making awareness of using it, but also its disposal. Even in the urban areas, disposal of used sanitary napkins are still a matter to be considered.
