This must be a joke, I see this trend for many years now. Surprised no one is raising this issue at all. How can she be topper in CBSE? She is topper for her subjects. What about science for example? Is she topper for science subjects too?
During my 12th standard time, around 80s, the results used to come in papers etc and not a single time arts, commerce, and science results used to be considered as a single result, always we used to read science topper, arts topper, or commerce topper etc. Some anti-science jealous media people have started now giving this unique ranking for all cbse together. She is first rank for her subjects or for arts only but not for arts, commerce and science, all together, so she cannot be cbse topper. The subjects are different, so difficulties are different too.
Is there any article on who topped science cbse? or all we are supposed to know only about this student?

It is like comparing top scorer in cricket this year with top scorer in foot ball or hockey etc, for this year
For example, can you say this year's hockey top goal scorer as the highest scorer for "all sports and games" for this year?
You can only say a person is top scorer for hockey, but you cannot say that person as top scorer for all sports and games.
Then why call an arts or science or commerce topper as topper for whole cbse?
They are toppers only for their respective field, not for whole cbse
Congratulations to her! But how can someone score 100 in English? There is something wrong in our evaluation system. You can score 100 in maths and science subjects. But when you score 100 in a language it means there is no room for improvement which is impossible, because a language can always be written better.. Never knew CBSE has gone down so much in standard.
So many genius in the country. Where ever there is an exam, a genius arises with 100% marks. Our government at the center also illuminated with genius results. I am proud of my as also yours country.
