Credibility of signatures
by NG Nileshwar on May 07, 2017 07:55 PM

A manual signature done is copied. This is called a forged signature. This has been used for decades. Frauds have occured and have been detected. Similarly digital signatures are also fraudently used.
Internet frauds are now the rage hence several modifications made to the verification process viz., passwords, PIN, A-PIN & T-PIN, etc. Further, 6 digit Secure code which could be sixty digit code.
However, the fraudster would always have the upper hand. Remember, Eve has eaten the apple and lefty this legacy to humanity.
The only improvement one could now suggest is that a separate fund now be created to deal with frauds. All claims under fraud be debited to this account so that the account holder does not suffer loss. The investigations by crime branch should be fast tracked. FIR should be the basis of claim.

Aadhar uses full finger prints , not partial. So is less vulnerable.
No security system can be foolproof, even signature, password etc as no lock can provide foolproof security. It can only be made more and more difficult

Anything on Internet means a Potential risk
by Manian on May 03, 2017 09:28 AM

No research is needed to find that any thing which is stored in any media which has either direct or indirect connectivity to the internet is capable of being hacked. The controls are created through software code and any thing which is a creation through software is open for hacking through reverse engineering. There can be no foolproof system that can be built around this. The hardware is only a processing equipment and if a user can access with a series of instruction so the hackers. Let us be prepared for the worst in time to come
