who is either sick or with a normal pain visits a doctor, he is immediately told to get some tests done. Even for a normal fever, he is directed for expensive tests where they get certain percentage. This is a very common practice now with most of the doctors unless u know them well. This is just to loot the patients.

A few years back doctors used visit our homes to attend the patients who cannot be moved.

But now there is no doctor who pays a visit to
attend the patient who may be critical.
But they are called as family doctors.
They get a medical seat by paying a huge amount as price.
then how can we expect the doctors to be patient favourite who is bent on earning as much money possible to compensate his investment in the beginning. they have to face ire of the public no wonder

Doctors are treated like Gods in India. Even the most successful people behave humbly in front of doctors. Every word of doctor is taken as ultimate truth. So, when this trust erodes, the payback is also equally opposite. Most doctors in the the city try to earn as much as 50,000 per day. They don't spend even 2 minutes with each patient in the OPDs. A cardiac surgeon charges over a lakh for 1 hr procedure. When they are well to do, they move to better countries. Doctors think it is their birth right to earn atleast 5 to 10 times more than any other professional at all times in their career. Not sure how many actually pay taxes. In many cases there is extreme greed to earn money at all costs. In one incident, doctors in the south India performed a knee surgery on a patient to increase his height!! That patient developed severe knee problems later.

There is a huge suspicion & angst built up deep in the society against medical professionals. These attacks are a direct result of that. The solution lies only in the hands of doctors!.
