So are you Suggesting that the students going to the US for education ,First Gets a Job in the US ,by applying Online from India and upon reaching the states ,first takes the job and then applies for a course at a local college and then works and studies at the same time. Naturally He would have to give proof of fees paid/ability to pay the fee and also ability to meet daily expenses/set up expenses if visa is received/ application accepted.

Education Reforms Part 2
by gaurav dinesh gupta on Mar 02, 2017 10:38 AM

This is in continuation to my post below
7.      Educational Loans of up to 35 Lakh Must be Made Available at 9% interest which will be paid by the student upon getting a job. Not Repaying the loan after getting the job should have serious impact on credit ratings.
8.      Medical and Engineering Colleges must be Compelled to collect donation (Or Whatever Fancy name they choose to give it ) ONLY by Check, Demand Draft, RTGS, NEFT
9.      Service Sector Job Creation must be given a boost by bringing in the best standards of customer service and direct interaction, by law, as most companies hide behind apps and deny prompt , compassionate and decisive customer service.
10.      Every Government sector job must be filled on priority I believe that all said and done there would be a requirement of at-least 1.5-2 Million Government Jobs in Police, Hospitals, Teaching, Govenment Staff , Army, Railways and other sectors.

Now would be the correct time to bring in the following education
by gaurav dinesh gupta on Mar 02, 2017 10:35 AM  | Hide replies

1.      We need to first have a comprehensive teacher training programme which includes child psychology so that the teachers are able to teach the children with passion and understanding and not load facts and figures into them as if loading bricks into a truck.

2.      We must construct at-least 10 million good, well equipped small schools with dedicated teachers and student strength of around 500- 1000 children per school.

3.      Introduce Employment subjects like Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrician, Auto- Mechanic , Computer and mobile repair etc, in grade 9 so that small scale self employment can be generated. Also it will reduce our dependence on handymen, servants and inculcate the feeling of “Beauty of Labour” in our children.

4.      Grade 10 Board Exams should be done away with and only one board exam at grade 12 should be there.

5.      We must have ONE UNIFORM Syllabus for the whole country so that every child learns the exact same thing. Individual State Language can be the 3rd language. One Class per day can be allocated to Individual State culture.

6.      We Must Charge a fee of about 2 lakhs per year in Commerce, Science and Arts Colleges so that the students, parents and teachers..ALL of them take this part of education seriously and not treat the college as “day time relaxation centres” after paying a fee of 2000-5000 per year.

7.      Educational Loans of up to 35 Lakh Must be Made Available at 9% interest which will be paid by the student upon getting a job.

For someone claiming to suggest educational measures at least you could have got your math right - at 1000 students per school and with 10 million schools, you would be teaching 1000 crore students. India has at any time not more than 20 crore students. So why are you wasting public funds in your ignorance?

Superior quality education is need of the hour
by sankalpa on Mar 01, 2017 07:05 PM  | Hide replies

Universities in India are incapable of imparting quality education.
Had it been other way round the base of any society to be prosperous is high quality education.
India Lacks that.
Only IIT's and IIM's have potential to employ individuals with good package.
HRD minsitry should research on this situation and come up with solutions.
Salaries should be determined based on skills and that is norm in foreign countries.
Indian HR are busy in cost cutting, recruting people with immeditaley available status or 15 days NP

Get Indian Education and settle in Foreign
by Sangamesh Ragate on Mar 01, 2017 05:12 PM  | Hide replies

Since many years many Indians enjoyed all the benefits given by India during their formation years and found greener pastures in Developed country with little regard to service to their own country. It is funny to note that most well educated Indians have little interest to serve their country. Now that they chose to make better life in an Alien country are crying hoax is really pitiable. What about the people who paid tax for you like BHAGODAS?

We do not need his kind of remittance. Think if our persons worked in India and developed a lot of things which US and other countries would have been forced to Import. You can suggest or force or elect a suitable Govt who can plan better pay and package for good people.

Well, ever heard of foreign exchange reserves and Balance of payment status ??

Any idea what the opinion of the government as well as that of economists is on whether *We need or do not need this kind of remittance* ??

No idea ?

Well, read the business pages of any newspaper in some detail for a few months. You might begin to get an idea about it.

Most of all that is written to convince the NRI community to get whatever is possible now. I doubt that anything can compensate for the brain drain.
