Eugenics was founded by Charles Galton (cousin of Charles Darwin) as a science of selective breeding of humans by choosing distinguished achievers for producing children who will inherit the best characteristics of both parents. Nazis borrowed this idea and tried to build a super race by selecting the best Aryan couples for a breeding colony. They also tried to eliminate "inferior" races which may over-run the Aryan world. The experiment ended with the end of WW II, never to raise its ugly head again.
