Great effort !
by Jayaprakash Balan on Jan 30, 2017 04:09 PM

More than the efforts and vision of Likitha, I think its more of her exposure, love and respect for agriculture and farmers that helped her to become an entrepreneur. Its a written fact that if India has to develop in a healthy way and tackle the problem of poverty, no other field can help except agriculture and unfortunately another fact is that though everybody including Govt. acknowledges that farming is the backbone of India, no Indian Govt or politicians or industrialists or rich people have done anything for agriculture or farmers. Unfortunately, Modi who is termed as face of new India and who is dreaming of taking India to greater heights also is not keeping Agriculture as priority but for him Business, Technology and Development is far more important. And we still rely on technology to take us forward to 21st century. Surely, IT can help us reach a long way, but it can never help India survive like farming. Alas we have great and many examples of people like Likitha making a career in Agriculture and being well off financially, but still these examples are not luring or inspiring more people especially our youth to invest time and money and life in Agriculture. Hope Indian mindset changes and rather than people spending life in cramped spaces in cities and towns, swarm of people return to roots, village and farming and make our Agriculture shine.

ideas emerge but implementation is the key to sucess
by Krishna Kishore Reddy on Jan 29, 2017 09:35 AM

Really great effort.
i have been using handpound rice since 3 years and i am very much satisfied. really implementating the budding ideas requires risk taking ability. we have to learn lessons from both of U as we being graduates in Agrl and PG with agribusiness management had ideas but not taken the risk of sucess.
your sucess story is a great lesson
