IT CAN BE CALLED THE 7 GEMS which some Kashmiri people didn't recognise the value. They have been brain-washed by the so-called militants, separatists, and the infiltrators for their own cheap personal gains

Kashmiris do recognize the value. Its people with vested interests who do not let Kashmir prosper.
Daksum, I have visited during my College days in Kashmir. Now these sceneries and places look beautiful in pictures only, rest you know the scenario of kashmir since 1989.

I visited in 2008, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 & 2017. Never felt unsafe. Kashmir is safe for tourists. Little caution to be taken if bandh is declared or protests are called in particular region. That region to be avoided. Rest, shouldn't be any issue.
There are lot more better to see than Kashmir. Once these places are not visited for a year or so then definitely kashmiris will understand the meaning of independence & India.

The major population of Kashmir is not bothered about all this. They are busy with their daily chores & care about their daily bread.

It is Kashmir valley that is not safe.. Because of the communal approach of the people there..once pundits are driven out, it has become a communal couldron... Still J&K is India and hope peace settles one day with the effort of the new Govt...

Kashmir is as safe as any other place in India. As a matter of fact, Kashmiri hospitality is one of the best in world. This I am telling with my experience of 6 trips, each trip of more than 10 days.
