Very much pleasing to know that there are people who stood by and brought her to life. We are thankful to them and happy for her. State should provide for her. Hang the culprits, if not already done.

Ban Islam which believes in eye for an eye justice. Killing, blinding are Arab way of punishments, H1ndus never had capital punishments.

ALL THESE DEMONS AND ENEMIES OF CIVIL SOCIETY NEED CAPITAL PUNISHMENTS BUT A HIGHLY LIBERAL DEMOCRATIC COUNTRY LIKE INDIA, JUSTICE IS ALWAYS A DISTANT DREAMS. DEMOCRACY IN INDIA HAS TURNED INTO APPEASEMENT TO ALL AND JUSTICE TO A VERY FEW. BUT THEN THEOCRATIC STATES ARE EVEN NOT BETTER WHEN WOMEN RIGHTS ARE CONCERNED. ALL HUMANITARIAN FORCES NEED TO UNITE AGAINST DEMONIC FORCES ALL OVER THE GLOBE.
The only permanent solution is to make sure that acid is available only with a license. Also concentrated acid should not be sold to any individual. So many products are regulated. Why can't this be? Otherwise we will have to go on hearing about such tragedies.
Reshma you are great and indeed beautiful. I salute your courage and all acid attack victims. Only solution of this curse is harsh punishment. Acid sell can not be stopped because it is in day to day use and easily available. Also it is being use in battery so can easily be purchased from market.
It will be years & years before the culprits are convicted and sentenced when they will go for appeal at higher court.... The process is tremendously slow , depressing and demoralizing for the victims. With clout they may be acquitted as well. Even if they are sentenced it will be for 10 years maximum after which in our country it can be safely concluded that they can marry ( if unmarried) and lead a normal life. But the victim's life is a misery with no end with little if any self respect and dignity and society at best will be patronizing. The apt punishment should be that the culprits are also be doused with acid on their face and other body parts where they have thrown on the victim. And this punishment to be meted out within six months. But we think we are too sophisticated and cultured to adopt such laws and punishment and thus let such numerous victims lead their miserable lives.

Hope some senior jurists are reading it!! Is it possible to have a mechanism from higher judiciary that such cases are treated straightaway at SC level and speedily processed including reviews and also including Presidential intervention as well.
Such cases should be dealt with speedily with severity of punishment as well so that potential crimes are nipped in the budding stage. Reshma-we wish for divine intervention as for as justice is concerned and request all well meaning people of the society to support her in any pursuit she desires to move forward.
