Every where in India, one would find the taxi drivers and auto drivers do not allow the Uber and Ola to come near the railway station or bus stand and the government everywhere looks as a mere spectator. This is not only deplorable but also nauseating.
i live in Hyderabad.auto fares were fixed by state govt. when petrol prices were about Rs.80 per liter.now that petro prices have come down by nearly 20%,still no autos ready to come at fixed rates.instead they ask extra money everytime and more so for station drops and pick-ups.Can state govt. or officials check each and every auto?Issue is personal greed and exploitation of fellow citizens.we have all but lost our morals and ethics.

It is a surprise that even in spite of court rulings, the private operators like ola have their own means of over charging. The fare comes up , however, there will be a clause stating that due to \\\"peak hour \\\" or etc, the fare will be 1.5 times the amount ,and do we want to continue.Clearly, the basic amount chargeable will not be the amount they would collect !!!!
