"" Savita Kumati (name changed) took a two-year break from work to look after her dad who was diagnosed with cancer. Here's how she "sold" her gap:

There are a great many impressive ways to highlight what you learned while you were taking a sabbatical, which was also work.""

so how did Sabita Kumari sell her gap?

Yourstory had started of well, inspirational entrepreneurial stories, but lately gone offtrack and become like filmfare another glossy story or marketing material. Nowadays where people are losing jobs everyday, I doubt a person can take a break unless in a forced situation (an emergency) or certainty of income elsewhere. Otherwise, hang on, dont take a break unless you want to break what you have in hand. All Employers and employees know this unless you want to learn from experience.
