Cashless travel / living. I am a person totally believe in cashless dealings. Since my Gulf days, I have practiced this for buying tickets, restaurant payment, hypermarket payments. Back in India, we found it difficult, but started looking for card swiping facilities for all our needs. Dmart is close to us for grocery and even our Marwari merchant comes to us with a swiping machine (in Pune); may be he has foreseen demonitization early; So when demonitization happened, our family was totally, my wife, me and working son, had only 18,000 cash with us. As we have started the practice early and well accustomed to it, never faced a problem. On 9th morning, we had to travel to Madurai from Kerala. I had only Rs 500 with me; diesel filled with card, for breakfast, went to a restaurant where card was accepted, again for meeting at resraurant paid my bills by credit card, again filled diesel with Debit card, and still my Rs 500// was intact. Deposited it in a temple Hindi and said bye bye to the note. my request to others; wherever possible, practice using net banking and cards for payment and you are ready to face any eventuality. A dream of many but whether India is ready for it is a question. It may go well in metros and smaller towns but whether it may help the uneducated labour class so too agriculture labourers who dont know how to read and write can adjust to the new setup is a big question.A very long way to go. Take a survey of the existing MPs and MLAs of all states and find out how many are comfortable with digital, make them familiar and let them take the task of implementation of introduction of cashless society. In the name let not poor people and small vendors and labourers are sidelined at the expense big malls and corporates
I am a retired person and habit of making cash payments. After demonetization and with intention to support Modiji, I have changed my habit. I told our made, milkman, grocer, medical stores that I will be making cheque payments henceforth and all of them accepted gladly. Now I will use cash only for vegetables and local conveyance. I will prefer vegetable vendor having PAYTM facility . Let us make efforts too make as less cash transactions as possible. It can be done and needs to be done by all citizens. Cash transactions give rise to corruption and black money. we need to better our India and support our P.M.

Why am I pused into such unsafe dark virtuality ? As a citizen of a free democratic nation as they say , why I am forced to have a Bank Account ? Why after having some GOLGAPPA ,I need to beg an elctronic bag-wallah to pay my money to the poor vendor without any fault or error and that to immediately or need to wait as long as it doesnt take place ....or some duplicate web-cheater is not cheating both of us by a fake web-site of fake app of same nature? why always I need a gadget to carry with me for all or any thing I do ?
why creating a virtual-layer on top of banks, same as again doing a virtual denationalization of the banking system as such ?

because the reality is we have parallel black economy which need to be eliminated. because it is an account of your legal money. because GOLGAPPA wallas are not poor vendors. If you check their daily earnings they are well above the poverty line. because to eliminate all those making fake currencies and cheating the nation. because your gadget is an effective tool against black economy.
Able to Manage for 20 days without any withdrawal. I had some currency of Rs.100 and still have some. It is becoming disciplined expenditure now. Thanks to Govt. However, lower denomination is must now.
