The last point is the best/relevant. Indians behave only for fear of the danda, unfortunately 'danda' is indiscriminate, illogical and misused.Remember the very people became more responsible/responsive during the ill famed emergency. There lies the lesson, if there is no self-restraint somebody is going to restrain you.
Agreed - soldier's life is important - so also the lives of ordinary citizens. So far about 70 people have died. I support demonetisation because it will stop terror funding. But I oppose it due to two following reasons: - 1. This has been without much of a planning 2. It will not affect accumulation of black money so long political parties continue to hide their income and oppose RTI querries.
I am not against demonetisation but it could have been done, after pumping at least 50% of likely 500/1000s scrapped, into banks, with or without announcement. Why no one could suggest this simple move? It is same as allocating 50,000 Crores (out of 30 lak Crores) for 100 Smart cities without knowing what is a Smart City (as announced by Min of Urban Dev). Today whole Country is witnessing the problems encountered by people in Rural Areas, on account of demonetisation because there are no banks in Rural areas, either to deposit old notes (if any farmer has even 10,000) OR to collect new Rs.2000 notes which are of no use since there is no change. Is it not sufficient proof that we need 6 laks Smart Villages than 100 Smart cities? Are they not going to create 100 more Concrete jungles to the existing while supporting (Paris Conference) control Carbon emission. But no expert talks about cutting down power consumption (minimising carbon generation) itself. Last but not the least, I would also say the same what Kennedy said but when I am President of India because I have only to say and others have to think what they have to do for the Country. Even Indian Netas say the same thing.
