Could Not..
by Ranjan Sen on Nov 18, 2016 10:23 PM  | Hide replies

Our post office in Durgapur 713216 (West Bengal), could not pay a single penny today. Cash has not arrived from H.O. This is happening frequently and whenever cash comes it's in Rs. 2000/- notes. Lower quntum remains unpaid, causing suffering. I just now read that Mr Arun Jaitley said " Distribution could not have been better"..... We have never had a such a disastrous Finance Manager. He is a big taunt on us.

Dear Basha, The problem is that your mindset is against a particular party and its PM. First you change your mindset. See what the Congress has given to you in the last 60 years. No good education, no job, communal riots, anarchy, criminalisation of politics etc. See the development in other countries like Japan, South Korea, China etc. Then you can understand how the corrupt Congress destroyed our people and our country. Still, you people support this corrupt party. I am not saying you to support BJP. But, at least, try to see the facts. If you dont't like anybody that does not mean that the other person is always wrong.
I am a member of AAP. Still, I like Mr. Modi because he is not corrupt person and he is NOT doing any favour to his family and his family members. Yes, there are some corrupt persons in BJP also. That does not mean that all the members of BJP are correct. Please have enough nicety to support good things being done by a leader even he is from our enemy party. That is patriotism...Good Luck.

late working due to demonetisation
by vishnu sarma ravipati on Nov 18, 2016 08:31 PM

We can understnd the anxiety of girl about her mother. One thing let her not forget all our jawans work 24 hours in biting cold in himalayas to prevent insurgency from terrorists. They have to be on their toes every day, wdeek, month, year without any respite. That way bank or postal staff are more comfortable.

situation is tense only in U.P and Delhi. Everybody knows the reason. And people who do not use debit cards, people who have kept cash at home are coming everyday to exchange, why did they not keep all this cash in Bank, they could have relied on ATM, instead of banks alone

PM should have well planned the outcome. Its a mess, he has to find a solution and that too not by changing rules everyday. I support the move but its implementation is chaotic.

Ques are getting shorter, fake persons are now fearing to come
for note exchange on some other's behalf.

I today went my bank, deposited old notes and withdrew new notes, all this took 15-20 minutes.

Now we await to get the benefit
of this demonetisation.

Can anyone suggest a realistic and fullproof way of this Rs500/1000 episode? Everybody is posing as expert. Let's stop all these and wait patiently for few more days. Now whatever goes wrong in India- blame it on Rio.

Do your job as demand
by Manabendra Pathak on Nov 18, 2016 10:01 AM  | Hide replies

This is a kind of ridiculous argument that one is working 12 hrs so need special attention or pity. Nobody cry working for12 hrs or even much more than that in private jobs. Bank now works 5 days in a week but if you see their payment structure that is one of the best, what privilege they have got for such luxury. Just few days they are working little more time so it becomes big news. Govt. employee always enjoy more privilege as if it’s their birthright else do strike. If you see their output in 8 hrs, that will be half of a private company employee. After all which govt. company is thriving!!

12 HOURS WORK --- those sitting in banks and counting money - filling up forms - and earning good salaries with holidays -- think they are doing great job -- Better these come out and see what is actual work -- how buildings are constructed -- how, how people risk their lives in mining construction - foundrys -- how people fight in MAnufacturing industries - for target completion - THEN THEY WILL UNDERSTAND WHAT IS REAL WORK .THESE SHOULD BE MADE TO DO SUCH WORK - so that they can get a lesson -- for life .

Nobody is asking for pity or your special attention..And no one is talking about bank employees in the article its Postal employees And moreover just Go and check the pay scale for postal working people.. They deserve the privileges.. as a private company employee atleast once in 2-3 years you will get appraisal but for them It is when they strike and government thinks if they can give then only they get..

THOROUGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL

The article in which the "child" of a staff of a post office worker cries about being unable to speak to her mother, seems to be based upon the unrealistic and unprofessional approach of a section of the population. They cry when their family members have to work for 12 hours a day, while they think it's their birthright to get served by the huge number of police, military, emergency and rescue crew, healthcare professionals, who keep the wheels of the administrative machinery running 24hours a day,365 days in a year. They have their leaves cancelled during the festive days or during environmental emergencies, while the "mother" can sleep in peace. They don't have sundays off for most of the year, their job only increases while the rest of us spend our days in the shelter of their protection. So instead of posting such absurd articles, i would urge the "child" to be a bit more professional in his/her thoughs. Wishing the Post Office Worker the best of health and may all of us find the zeal to work more with the support of our families forthe interest of the nation
