sacrifice by NAMO
by BS on Nov 14, 2016 01:17 AM

Namo has taken a big big Gamble for the sake of the country. This move probably could cost him and BJP, the next election. But yet he saw danger of Black economy menace, He has taken a very very bold decision.

Now I expect Namo to make next move. i.e. lower the Tax rate substantially and ensure Tax compliance.

Black-Money supporting so-called leaders
by SWAPAN KUMAR MONDAL on Nov 14, 2016 01:16 AM

It can be easily understood why some people having black money are shouting against banning of 500 & 1000 rupee notes. Their bundles of notes will be turned into scrap.
But it can't be understood why Mamta Banerjee, Mayabati, Mulayem and Co., Lalu prasad yadab, Adult-Baby Rahul Gandhi are also shouting against that ban in disguise of helping the so-called harassed common people. Does it mean that all of those political faces has crores of Black money in 500 & 1000 rupee notes which invariably are going to be turned into scrap paper?

The wise ones have already made pre demonetization and post demonetization arrangement, including those named above The rest have been led into a cave by the Pied Piper with no exit.I predict a total tax exemption on deposits made during the window period as New Year gift and the ultimate vote catching gimmick..

The Net should be Cast Wide!
by on Nov 13, 2016 11:48 PM

Technically “Black Money” connotes all wealth created outside country’s economic regulation [primarily taxation system]. It does not mean only ‘currency notes’ as the current euphoria seems to convey. It also exists in various other forms like benami properties, gold etc. Cash is the tip of the iceberg. To achieve maximum advantage for economic growth, Mr Modi and Mr Jaitley should focus on bringing into the tax-net, all real-estate transactions, rentals from huge properties in and around cities, fleets of transport-operators, retail traders and professionals like doctors and lawyers. Only then, the country will benefit from such measures!

Modi's surgical strike on black money: 5 lessons to learn
by sanjay kumar on Nov 13, 2016 06:47 PM

This actually is a very bold and powerpacked action. I remember few things where another such bold prime minister existed ..........Indira Gandhi.......

But there is a difference.....Indira Gandhi did everything for power...
1) People having sympathy with Pakistan shouldn't forget that Indira ji divided Pakistan into two pieces.....

2) Vasectomy and tubectomy......I needn't mention further......

3) Freedom of Press.....

But this man is doing it for nation. Let us cheer him up..Even when America can elect Trump.......Modi is not trump.....He is Abraham Lincoln......Thumps up to you PM....

Actually the Congress regime of last 60 years was the golden period because the present Modi Govt. is only harassing the farmers & poor . In 2019 definitely the Congress will win and PAPPU will be the PM of India.

excellent move..but the root still exists
by on Nov 13, 2016 01:57 PM

its an excellent move to wipe out black money..but the root of all this black money still exists..the political parties including the BJP have loads of cash & are adamant on not declaring the source of this cash. This means the chamchas closer to the politicians will njoy, while the aam admi will bear the burnt for the sake of the nation.the congress has over 2500 crore donation, bjp now must be havong almost equal to this amount. But wen questioned tey only are ready to part with 20% donation source, while 80% of their funding wont be disclosed, this is ridiculous..This can only give rise to one strong belief tat is the bjp leaders n their friends were aware well in advance about the demonetization of 500&1000 rupee notes. The hon PM has forgotten tat he is PM of india & not of bjp..secondly the bjp r bad losers..tis tey have demonstrated in delhi by interfering in the governance of AAP in delhi.pls let the pple decide whom to vote.n i feel modi instead of acting against the black money hoarders directly has inconvenienced the common man..which can work against the bjp..jai hind
