Instead of good teachers We recruit good performers in written tests and interviews. Unless we change this system and recruit people having true aptitude for teaching, our system will not improve. We donot truly approve the role of a teacher in India. Inspite of 6th Central paycommission recommending (after so many foreign visits and studies by IIM teams in that pay commission) that contribution of people having direct contact with public such as police, postmen, nurses and teachers be suitably rewarded, the babujis along with politicians of India did not recognise that in implementation of pay commission to invite talents into these professions. Instead we have in the pool very ambitious persons interested only in security of a job and promotions. 90% of the current teaching community do not speak to children (to understand their difficulties/problems) and blame them as worthless. Unless a teacher has a pleasant disposition and sympathetic approach no child can like the subject he teaches. Instead we have tough task masters and cruel beasts in most of them. I fail to understand what Govt does to evaluate the practical implementation of what is taught in BEd classes.
On one side of this world, we have the absence of learning where all children are kept away from education due to extreme circumstances of their environment and One person had come forward to change the face of their minds..
It's really heart warming and an unique message to all the fellow teachers who are listening.
It's very true and psychological that children learn very much with games.They develop, socialize and have a sportive attitude in this approach.
Anything beyond this prize should be given to her.
