...so more result oriented though situation would change once most women are outdoor duties and men in indoor. Society would never be able to accommodate both men and women as working force

Humans are useless for their muscle power, which even a toy electric motor can exceed. They are only useful for their brain power. Women and men should have same upbringing and opportunity to realize their maximum possible potential. Gender discrimination is foolish and wastes human potential. It keeps society backward.

Why displaying photos of our scientists?
by sanjay kulkarni on Mar 10, 2016 07:11 AM  | Hide replies

We know and respect the hard work of our scientists for ISRO and its missions. When the series of Indian Nuclear scientists are killed/murdered by ISI and other underground groups in the world, why to show pictures of scientists openly?
Its matter of pride to get pictures published for different achievements, but why to show scientists pictures?

Reward them with money, different govt. awards - but dont make its publicity. Its threat to their life as well as the forthcoming missions.

Indian govt. and media should ban such showcasing.

Bans do not work. Spies have their own sources and methods. Only honest people can be kept away by bans, not the real bad people.

launch of the Mangalyaan mission, the commercial media in India went agog with effusive praise about ISRO's "unparalleled" achievement. For two days, no story dominated headlines as much as the boast that no other country reached Mars in its first attempt.

This is indeed true. No other country has reached Mars in its first attempt.

But, having said that in reams and reams of print and bloated it up beyond all aesthetic proportions, perhaps the media also could have put in the following statement made in all honesty by the then ISRO chairman, Mr. Radhakrishnan :

We are proud of putting together the hard work, dedication, scientific and engineering rigor and confidence for achieving success in our first attempt at orbiting Mars. However, we also derived immense value from each of the 51 missions to the Mars undertaken previously by other countries in the past 54 years. Every bit of data from each of those missions - both successful and unsuccessful - was analysed and made use of by our team. Our indebtedness to the data from NASA's missions is especially high. NASA undertook several successful missions in the last 30 years and an important component of our work over the past few years was analysing and identifying every bit of detail that separated the successful and unsuccessful missions.

Mr. Radhakrishnan said this in a TV interview. However, it could not be found anywhere in any newspaper or in the social media.

Every country studies about the successful nations attempt to scale success including failures, so that they will not be repeating the errors or mistake in theri mission. We dont have poowerful roket to launch mars mission straight away. In order to avoid the short coming went mangalyaan to moon's orbit and therefrom it went out of the orbit to mars orbit. This no other nation has done it. This is whrere we diffred. That is why we could be successful in first attempt. Even US studies all other attempts whether successful or otherwise (of other country's) But they wont advertise that they study other country's attempts) This is common practice. But why single out our country's methodology. I have seen your past messages, full of negativism, ridicule. Whatever our country attempts for development , you are dismissive of such efforts. Why you show only negativism?

The important thing is that it proves that visible inferiority of India has circumstantial causes, not racial or genetic. India needs to improve the physical and psychological environment in which its people live. There is nothing wrong with the genes of Indians.

Constituent Assembly did not finish its work. A constitutional authority like Psychological Authority of India is missing. India is like a powerful BMW car driven through a densely populated urban area, minus a driver. Less people would die and the travel would be less zigzag if there were a proper driver in it.
