First of all both are not comparable because it's selection purely based on one's inclination to know about the deep part on these sections. Even If you get a good teacher on either of them, the success rate depends on the individuals circumstances which means factors like their family culture, education, economy and the physique. For eg, a vegan orthodox may not reach the 100% success rate with their counterpart who eats eggs for the stamina during Gym and vice versa.

Just try doing 20 minutes of Surya Namaskara without a break - you will get full fledged Cardio, Stretching, Muscle workout, Endurance, and serious sweat, all in a single workout.

gym has side effects, but yoga does not. this is the biggest win for yoga. with yoga you will become more human, with gym not sure.

Every thing is set limit for example HATH YOGA is two sided sword used in history by kings like BINDOOSAR to win battles but it is two sided sword may hurt the user also sometimes

while yoga make both body and mind good gym make only body make good .thats too until you practice egularly.yoga is more for both body and mind and even for spiritual seekers,gym can hardly supports your body
