Though Hyderabadi Biriyanis are served in many hotels, still authentic spicy Biriyany from Hotels like Raham's in Frazer town & on Kengal Hanumanthaiah road near to Richmond circle, Nandhini and Swati chain of Hotels and RRR Hotel near big clock tower(opp to Mysore Palace)in Mysooru are really mouth watering dishes

Please confine your opinions to Bisi Bele Bath. Kannadigas do not know anything about biriyani.

Hyderabad Biryani is a Royal Dish of Nizam Nawabs.. the best places you can find it at PARADISE HOTEL(SECUNDERABAD),GRAND HOTEL(ABIDS),BAWARCHI(RTC X ROADS), SHADAB(CHARMINAR),ASTORIA(RTC X ROADS)
It is the media which has made Biryani very popular . In fact Punjabi Pulao like Pratha is the best . Some of us has to make it popular . People may forget the tast of Biryani .
kolkata Biryani is best...Arsalan...Zeeshan...Siraj...are the well known places where you can taste authentic Biryani ....even biryani prepared in lesser known places in kolkata and served at Rs 50..Rs 60 per plate, can give run for the money to most famous biryani of other cities. No other place in india biryani is served with spicy steamed fried potato except kolkata. It makes Biryani of Kolkata not only different but yummy experience also.
