Astrology or Jyotish is a science and recently Dr David Frawley received the Padma Vibhushan for his pioneering work in the science of Jyotish. Please google jyotish and read some of the basic stuff there before jumping to conclusions. Majority of Indians dont know what Yoga is or what Jyotish is. Pity and they seem to be proud of their ignorance and want to disown their past sciences as a figment of imagination just due to their ignorance. In todays world you have google to help you get informed about the basics of yoga and Jyotish. For that matter even love marraiges ends in divorce, so we cannot let the results of a marraige decide a science nor can we have the recovery of a patient decide the validity of biology or medicine. For those who needs facts there are tons of them available on the web who want to question Jyotish or astrology as a science
If your horoscope matches 100% and "mann" matches 0% then how long the marriage will last and
if your "mann" matches 100% and horoscope matches 0% how long the marriage will last:
Till the "mann" matches. That means horoscope is secondary
Horscope matched marriage must not be found in court asking for divorce. Astrologer who matched the marriage must justify.
If you are well after tests, Doctor, at times say you are well and need not to come to me but an astrologer will always tell that you have some problem. That means when a is child born all the place are bad place and all the time in the universe is bad. Is that in not so let and astrologer say " You are fine don't come to an astrologer".

Horoscopes are just man made, there is no truth in them. It is only in Hindus that Horoscope matters and that only in those who live in a box and do not wish to know that there are greener pastures outside the box. Horoscopes were invented to keep the so called lower classes at bay so only the educated brahmins will thrive and it became their way of earning extra bit cash. For the rest of the world Horoscopes are just Horror scopes.

Now that horoscopes are a dying breed, Public is educated and can think good from bad. A new concept is invented Called MANGLIK. Which was never heard of 10 years ago.

Just because u heard abt Manglik concept 10 years ago doesnt mean it was not there before. Manglik is derived from Mangal meaning Mars. So this yoga is there ever since Mars and Man have been there. U r rite that public is educated and thats why astrology is gaining more and more poularity. However u r free to call horror scope or whatever but that does not affect science called astrology.
Astrology is a great science. The interpretation by the present astrologers is much to be desired. Just on that count to say the science itself is bad is foolish.
Again am not sure whether other than Hindus anyone believe in Astrology. Our religion is so great it does not specify that wedding should take place if only the horoscopes match. If the consenting adults decide to get married there is acceptance& provision in Hindu religion. R. Sivasankaran

Astrology is not a science as it cannot be proved by facts. For a subject to be termed scientific it has to be backed up by hard facts. That is why Astrologers are nothing but soothsayers & operate on the concept of fear. In a modern world we need to junk such rubbish like astrology.
