What has western culture got to do with sponging off your parents and living off them?
Being independant is more important and showing them that you can do it on your own while still caring for them is what western culture is.
There are old age homes in the west which give better care than what you could do.
I have heard Indian children saying "Kabmaregibudda/buddi" when they get fed up of them but cant do anything about it because of "parampara" and what will people say.
We Indians are hypocrites and will always remain like that.

It is our culture
by BS on Dec 13, 2016 12:27 PM  | Hide replies

The Parents take care because there is no one else to do so. Unlike in western countries where a citizen is entitled to several facilities, here in India one has to fend for himself. Thats why the parents try to protect their siblings.

National Anthem was a song of homage to King George V. There is enough circumstantial evidence to prove that.

You are totally wrong. systems have changed. Nobody interferes. Everybody has right to live their own lives. I think you are from 18th century, Sir. Let everyone do whatever they want to do. - Satish Kumar Sharma, Ludhiana.
