I applied for my passport from GPO pune

Yes its much simple to apply for pp from Post Office, i had applied for this in the year 2010 and the Officer at GPO pune was very co-operative at that time everything was offline the employee on form distribution counter questioned why apply offline when online option is available, same way post officer at first said no but still i applied through post office and i managed to get my pp

BEFORE UTILISING THE INFRA STRUCTURE OF POST OFFICE FOR ISSUING THE PASSPORT GOVERNMENT TO IMPROVE THE INFRASTRUCTURE OF THE POST OFFICES ITSELF, THE POST OFFICES ARE IN SUCH A PATHETIC CONDITION.... FOR PROOF VISIT THE AMBERNATH SOUTH POST 421501 , THE BUILDING MAY COLAPSE ANY TIME , POST FULL OF DUST AND SPIDER WEBS , ONCE YOU GO INSIDE YOU CAN NOT COME OUT WITHOUT DUST PATCHES ON YOUR CLOTHS AND HEAD.

Very right. Most POs are like that. Quality must improve. The Minister in Charge in UPA rule did nothing. Hope this Govt does something. Are we heading for postal service through mobiles Mr Prime Minister ?
