HK has had its share of sufferings. This is a temporary phase of 3 months max for India. Before this Indian Metros were no different from HK and after this too they will be no different. Don't compare HK infrastructure with India. You writing an article of this nature for a few days of trouble shows your narrow mind. If the glitter of HK so attracts you why did you come back?
plight of the Indians is they can't even murmur about the discomfort due to demonetization. You cannot swipe credit card or debit card for every ten rupee transaction. Europe or any where in the world people donot swipe in many places where transaction is of very less amount. you cannot trust all the vendors and swipe your card. swiping card for very small amounts will lead to hacking and loss of huge amount
Although you managed to get this write-up published such opinions neither matter nor affect mainstream India.Vast majority have been tied to the scarcity yoke for generations and is willing to rough it out for few more weeks/months to disentangle himself. It could only become relevant if you observe a total failure of the scheme after two years. Why dont you cool in Hong Kong till then.

35% has access to internet and social media. All of them do not use social media to voice their opinion. We dont know the opinion of vast majority 70%!!!
Very ill informed and coming out of a closed mind who can not think more than just what they have seen all their life. The writer has no clarity about the real world scenarios. Come to Sweden for example, you wil not find no cash, and hello, it is ranked top 3 in the world for human index, also for living standards. The writer has no idea what she wants to convey, I think rediff really needs investors to bring in intellectual writers who really are journalists, and not these ill informed and myopic kind of childish interpreters. And tomthe writer really, please get another job, writing or thinking is not for you, you are not an intellectual even if you want to call it to yourself.
