We would like to donate. Are you a NPO? If you are, I'd also recommend government of India to give 150% deduction on taxes to increase your donation amounts. This way more people will donate to your organization then to taxes (which are channeled through layers of babus before reaching common man). This is going to lead to more speedy growth of your education organization.
Also, why not get Gates, Buffet involved in such organizations...
