One of the sorely needed

innovations in India is to get human excreta consumed by bacteria in quick time !

Or in converting it into beneficial manure in a way that is not repulsive to the handlers !

If someone can innovate in this, very few other innovations will be able to hold a light before it !

E-Bicycle, or Petrol driven bicycle

Dear IIT innovators of Kanpur. I am an old man of eighty. I live with my wife who is seventy four in a flat situated on the second floor of a building. I am as healthy as one could be at my age. I walk freely unaided to meet the daily requirements of the two of us. Of late I find that it is becoming a burden and at times I have to skip and stay back for rest. The indulgence has its own cost - may be going without the necessities like medicines, for the day. I often read on the internet that cheap modes of personal transportation are available in other countries, like a petrol driven bicycle and a rechargable batteryoperated bicycle. The latter is freely used in CHINA. May be I can get one. But I do not encourage myself to use Chinese goods, and my wife supports me. Dear IITians, can you not device a bicycle which runs on re chargable batteries and which is affordable and mde available for ten to fifteen thousands of rupees? You may not benifit much but may earn the gratitude of yours sincerely Priya Prasad.

Dear Sir, It is easier to take a rebirth and do something ourselves than to expect anything from these ornamental garbages coming out of so called IITs.
If our IIT and IIMs are so premium, then why are we in this state after 60 years of freedom? These guys have learned only onething "how to be selfish" from their parents.

I pity this country.

Affordable Mobility Problem of an old retired person.
by Priya Prasad on Sep 10, 2015 03:23 PM

I am an old man of eighty. I'm still active and can walk without any assistance from any one. For meeting the daily needs of my family which includes my wife who is seventy two I have to move around for marketing etc. Of late I am finding it difficult to do so. I cannot afford a motorcycle or a scooter, even if I get one I do not have a place to keep it as I live in a flat that is on the third floor. I keep reading about motorized bicycles which run on a petrol driven engine, and even e-bicycle which runs on a re-chargable battery. The latter are made in China and are used extensively there. Why cannot we in India produce one which may be made available for ten to fifteen thousands of rupees. Can IIT-Kanpur help. Thanks. Priya prasad.
