What does the F word really mean
by robert clements on Oct 09, 2015 01:02 PM

The origin of the swear word \'Bloody\' doesn\'t come from Blue Blood as the author says, but from a commonly used phrase in the 17th and 18th century, \'by my lady\' which was used by the knights, nobility and other Englishmen, and slowly shortened to \'by m\'lady\' and finally \'bloody\'.
